Teachers and Students face “Waiting for WiFi” issue while uploading their files or attachment onto Google Drive app. This issue happens when the Transfer files only over Wi-Fi setting in Google Drive app is enabled.

  1. Open Google Drive App
  2. Tap on the Menu
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Scroll down “Data Usage”
  5. Transfer files only over Wi-Fi will be enabled in blue
  6. Toggle the button to the left to disable
  7. A warning message will be displayed.
  8. Tap “OK” to confirm
  9. Go back to Google Drive folders and try uploading the files.

Note: Ensure you have a good network coverage & adequate bandwidth to upload large files.
