Teachers and Students face “Waiting for WiFi” issue while uploading their files or attachment onto Google Drive app. This issue happens when the Transfer files only over Wi-Fi setting in Google Drive app is enabled.
- Open Google Drive App
- Tap on the Menu
- Tap Settings
- Scroll down “Data Usage”
- Transfer files only over Wi-Fi will be enabled in blue
- Toggle the button to the left to disable
- A warning message will be displayed.
- Tap “OK” to confirm
- Go back to Google Drive folders and try uploading the files.
Note: Ensure you have a good network coverage & adequate bandwidth to upload large files.
